Ridges and Valley Gutters

Ridges are the highest points or peaks along the top of a roof where two sloping sides meet. In the context of IBR roofing, ridge caps or ridge flashings are typically used to cover and seal the joints at the ridge.

Valley gutters are channels or troughs formed where two roof slopes meet, creating a valley. In IBR roofing, valley gutters help direct rainwater and other precipitation away from the roof and into the drainage system. The gutters are typically lined with waterproofing materials and may incorporate flashing to ensure a watertight seal.
